Conner once mentioned that he considered writing Hawk Mountain as a screenplay during its journey from his mind to the page. With that in mind I'd like to ask Conner if he has a dream casting in mind in the event his magnificent book eventually makes it to the screen.
Me too. I was lucky enough to attend a book reading in Philadelphia when the novel first came out and got to meet Conner. He was warm, welcoming and wonderful and I can still feel his hug.

I love this question, thank you so much Bonnie. I shall ask Conner (and reference you) as part of the Q&A. Really excited for this one.

I'm only 80or so pages in - The Catcher in the Rye has just been mentioned and I wondered what influence, if any, that book had on Conner growing up?
